Oh wow, I am crying. It is beautiful. And I am not just saying that because it is my book and all. It flows smoothly. I am pleased. I am confident I will land a contract with that. Now I feel confident. I didn’t feel that confidence before with my manuscript. Being a writer, I know that my manuscript didn’t have the smoothness I was aiming for. Thanks so much.

I read the query letter and bawled like a baby; you did such a great job of capturing the story and my feelings towards the intended audience.

Five tips to work with a fiction ghostwriter

  • Pay quickly at each milestone to keep the work flowing.
  • Give fast feedback after each chapter. The quicker the feedback, the better the final manuscript will flow.
  • Use “track changes” to send detailed feedback, or just send an email for more general comments.
  • List every item you want in the book: all the characters, all the settings, all the interactions, all the artifacts…everything.
  • Organize your material. Use a timeline, even if the manuscript doesn’t follow the timeline directly. Or list items by character or by place.

Five things you should tell your fiction book writer

  • Tell your fiction book writer who your readers are. Define a single person to be your ideal reader.
  • Tell your fiction book writer how you want readers to feel about each character.

THGM, thank you for answering all of my questions day in and day out. I stepped into an unknown world, but your team was always there to point me in the right direction.

Debra is exactly the person/editor/lady I was looking for. She is not re-writing my book, she’s making it better. I took 98%+ of her suggestions on my first fifty pages. I am very pleased and inspired. I LOVE WHAT SHE IS DOING WITH ALABAMA BLUE.

Five things you should know about our contracts

  • Our book ghostwriting contracts name you as the copyright owner. That protects you.
  • Our book ghostwriting contracts specify the length of the manuscript.
  • Our book ghostwriting contracts confirm the price to write the book.
  • Our book ghostwriting contracts name the writer who will serve you.
  • Our book ghostwriting contracts specify the payment schedule.

Five book writing costs you might incur

  • The cost of writing, which we typically ask for in three instalments. This is the main cost. In fact, this is usually your only cost
  • Research, which is labourious. If you need it, we charge by the hour.
  • Personal meetings. Some clients want a face-to-face meeting with the writer. This might add a per diem cost and travel costs.
  • Transcription. Some clients want to provide their information orally. If so, it will need to be transcribed into a format that the writer can easily search and scan.
  • Editing. We edit and proofread all manuscripts that we write. However, it is wise to have a totally unrelated editor review your text before publishing.

Five things you should know about the cost of writing your book

We don’t compete on price. We are neither the most expensive nor the least expensive. We compete on quality, and our price is competitive for the quality of writing we give you. Here are five things you should know about ghostwriter pricing:

  • Writing is a labour intensive job. It isn’t cheap.
  • The longer the manuscript, the more it costs to write.
  • Celebrity ghostwriters are good. But they are expensive. Ours are just as good, but you don’t pay an extra $40,000 for their names.
  • There are places to find cheaper writers on the Internet. If quality is not all that important to you, go for cheap.
  • Our price includes writing, editing and proofreading. But you should always get a fresh set of eyes to proofread once any writer is done.

Five things to do when you find a ghostwriter for your novel

  • Explain how you want readers to react to each character.
  • Explain what you want to include in the story. Be as detailed as possible.
  • Explain who your ideal audience is, and who your other audiences are. For children’s books, be very narrow in your ideal age range.
  • Decide how to share information with your writer and how to send feedback after each chapter is drafted
  • Sign the contract. Congratulations, you now have a professional writing your novel for you.

I feel right now as if my book is already published and you have written the first–and best–review it could have… All I can say is, thank you! for your professional editing and your wonderful words… Again, I couldn’t be more pleased with your work, and your reaction to the novel itself has given me a great deal of inspiration to continue on to publication.

Thank you so much for this fantastic work. I’m extremely impressed , not only by the top-notch quality of the writing and managing to adapt to the “voice” of the other stories but also your ability to have completed this project in such short time. I love the way you’ve managed to amend and convert these stories to such fascinating and page-turner book. Thanks also for the outstanding query letter and synopsis.
